Account Settings
Customize your Postiv.io experience and secure your account with these settings.
Accessing Settings
Section titled “Accessing Settings”- Click your profile icon (top right)
- Select “Settings”
Profile Settings
Section titled “Profile Settings”Personal Information
Section titled “Personal Information”Update your basic info:
- Name: Display name shown in the app
- Email: Login email (verification required to change)
- Profile Photo: Upload your avatar
- Timezone: For accurate scheduling
Changing Your Email
Section titled “Changing Your Email”- Go to Settings → Profile
- Click “Change Email”
- Enter new email address
- Verify via link sent to new email
- Old email receives confirmation
Changing Your Password
Section titled “Changing Your Password”- Go to Settings → Security
- Click “Change Password”
- Enter current password
- Enter new password (8+ characters)
- Confirm new password
- Click “Update Password”
Security Settings
Section titled “Security Settings”Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Section titled “Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)”Add extra protection:
- Go to Settings → Security
- Click “Enable 2FA”
- Scan QR code with authenticator app
- Enter verification code
- Save backup codes
Supported apps:
- Google Authenticator
- Authy
- 1Password
- Microsoft Authenticator
Active Sessions
Section titled “Active Sessions”See where you’re logged in:
- Device type
- Location
- Last active
- Click “Sign Out” to end any session
Login History
Section titled “Login History”View recent login activity:
- Date and time
- Device and browser
- Location (IP-based)
- Success or failure
Notification Settings
Section titled “Notification Settings”Email Notifications
Section titled “Email Notifications”Control what emails you receive:

- Enable/disable all
- Quiet hours settings
- Priority notifications only
Preferences
Section titled “Preferences”Display Settings
Section titled “Display Settings”- Theme: Light / Dark / System
- Language: English / Spanish
- Date Format: MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY
- Time Format: 12-hour or 24-hour
Default Posting
Section titled “Default Posting”Set defaults for new posts:
- Default platforms to select
- Default hashtag groups
- Default posting time
Calendar Preferences
Section titled “Calendar Preferences”Customize the content calendar:
- Week starts on: Sunday / Monday
- Default view: Month / Week / Day
- Show weekends: Yes / No
Connected Services
Section titled “Connected Services”Social Accounts
Section titled “Social Accounts”Manage platform connections:
- View all connected accounts
- Disconnect accounts
- Reconnect expired tokens
- See connection status

Third-Party Apps
Section titled “Third-Party Apps”Manage integrations:
- Canva
- Google Drive
- Dropbox
- Revoke access anytime
Data & Privacy
Section titled “Data & Privacy”Export Your Data
Section titled “Export Your Data”Download all your data:
- Go to Settings → Data & Privacy
- Click “Export Data”
- Choose what to include
- Click “Generate Export”
- Download link sent to email
Export includes:
- Account information
- Post history
- Analytics data
- Media library items
- Settings and preferences
Delete Your Account
Section titled “Delete Your Account”Permanently delete your account:
- Go to Settings → Data & Privacy
- Click “Delete Account”
- Type “DELETE” to confirm
- Enter your password
- Click “Permanently Delete”
Team Settings
Section titled “Team Settings”For Pro and Business plans:
Managing Team Members
Section titled “Managing Team Members”- Go to Settings → Team
- View current members
- Click “Invite Member” to add
- Enter email and role
- They receive invitation email
Roles & Permissions

Removing Team Members
Section titled “Removing Team Members”- Go to Settings → Team
- Find the member
- Click “Remove”
- Confirm removal

- Try incognito/private mode
- Check internet connection

Settings not saving?
