Account Settings

Customize your Postiv.io experience and secure your account with these settings.

  1. Click your profile icon (top right)
  2. Select “Settings”

Update your basic info:

  • Name: Display name shown in the app
  • Email: Login email (verification required to change)
  • Profile Photo: Upload your avatar
  • Timezone: For accurate scheduling
  1. Go to SettingsProfile
  2. Click “Change Email”
  3. Enter new email address
  4. Verify via link sent to new email
  5. Old email receives confirmation
  1. Go to SettingsSecurity
  2. Click “Change Password”
  3. Enter current password
  4. Enter new password (8+ characters)
  5. Confirm new password
  6. Click “Update Password”

Add extra protection:

  1. Go to SettingsSecurity
  2. Click “Enable 2FA”
  3. Scan QR code with authenticator app
  4. Enter verification code
  5. Save backup codes

Supported apps:

  • Google Authenticator
  • Authy
  • 1Password
  • Microsoft Authenticator

See where you’re logged in:

  • Device type
  • Location
  • Last active
  • Click “Sign Out” to end any session

View recent login activity:

  • Date and time
  • Device and browser
  • Location (IP-based)
  • Success or failure

Control what emails you receive:

Toggle notifications for:

  • Post status changes
  • Team activity
  • Account connections
  • System alerts

If using mobile:

  • Enable/disable all
  • Quiet hours settings
  • Priority notifications only
  • Theme: Light / Dark / System
  • Language: English / Spanish
  • Date Format: MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY
  • Time Format: 12-hour or 24-hour

Set defaults for new posts:

  • Default platforms to select
  • Default hashtag groups
  • Default posting time

Customize the content calendar:

  • Week starts on: Sunday / Monday
  • Default view: Month / Week / Day
  • Show weekends: Yes / No

Manage platform connections:

  • View all connected accounts
  • Disconnect accounts
  • Reconnect expired tokens
  • See connection status

Manage integrations:

  • Canva
  • Google Drive
  • Dropbox
  • Revoke access anytime

Download all your data:

  1. Go to SettingsData & Privacy
  2. Click “Export Data”
  3. Choose what to include
  4. Click “Generate Export”
  5. Download link sent to email

Export includes:

  • Account information
  • Post history
  • Analytics data
  • Media library items
  • Settings and preferences

Permanently delete your account:

  1. Go to SettingsData & Privacy
  2. Click “Delete Account”
  3. Type “DELETE” to confirm
  4. Enter your password
  5. Click “Permanently Delete”

For Pro and Business plans:

  1. Go to SettingsTeam
  2. View current members
  3. Click “Invite Member” to add
  4. Enter email and role
  5. They receive invitation email

  4. Confirm removal
  • Clear browser cache
  • Try incognito/private mode
