Posting at the right time can significantly increase your content’s visibility and engagement. Postiv.io analyzes your audience to recommend optimal posting times.

Postiv.io analyzes several factors to determine your best posting times:

  1. Your Audience Activity: When your followers are most active
  2. Historical Performance: When your past posts got the most engagement
  3. Platform Patterns: General activity trends for each network
  4. Time Zone Distribution: Where your followers are located

Find your optimal times in:

  1. DashboardInsightsBest Times
  2. Calendar → Click the clock icon
  3. Post Editor → See suggestions while scheduling

The heat map shows activity levels:

  • 🔴 Hot: Peak activity times (best for posting)
  • 🟠 Warm: Good activity levels
  • 🟡 Moderate: Average engagement expected
  • Cool: Lower activity periods
  • Best days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • Peak times: 11am-1pm, 7pm-9pm
  • Avoid: Late night (12am-5am)
  • Best days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Peak times: 9am-11am, 1pm-3pm
  • Avoid: Early morning weekends
  • Best days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • Peak times: 7am-8am, 12pm, 5pm-6pm
  • Avoid: Weekends
  • Best days: Tuesday, Wednesday
  • Peak times: 8am-10am, 12pm-1pm
  • Avoid: Late night
  • Best days: Monday through Thursday

  3. Set maximum posts per day
  4. Choose optimization priority:
    • Maximum Reach: Spread across peak times
    • Consistent Presence: Even distribution

  1. Add posts to your queue without specific times
  2. Postiv.io analyzes your optimal times
  3. Posts are automatically scheduled to peak windows
  4. Queue adapts as new data comes in

Create your own posting schedule:

  1. Go to SettingsPosting Schedule
  2. Click “Add Time Slot”
  3. Select day(s) and time
  4. Choose which platforms this applies to
  5. Save your schedule

Ensure accurate scheduling:

  1. Go to SettingsPreferences
  2. Set your primary time zone
  3. Optionally set audience time zone if different
  4. All scheduling uses your configured timezone
