Connecting Social Accounts

Connect your social media accounts to start scheduling and publishing content from Postiv.io.

Supported Platforms

Postiv.io supports the following platforms:

How to Connect

1. Go to Settings

   Click your profile icon in the top right, then select “Settings” → “Connected Accounts”

2. Choose a Platform

   Click the “Connect” button next to the platform you want to add

3. Authorize Access

   You’ll be redirected to the platform to log in and grant Postiv.io permission to post on your behalf

4. Select Accounts

   If you have multiple pages or accounts, select which ones you want to connect

5. Done!

   Your account is now connected and ready to use

Platform-Specific Instructions

Instagram

Instagram Connection

Instagram requires a Facebook Page to be connected for auto-publishing.

Requirements:

• Instagram Business or Creator account
• Linked Facebook Page with admin access
• Facebook account logged in

Steps:

1. Connect your Facebook account first
2. Select the Facebook Page linked to your Instagram
3. Authorize Instagram access when prompted

Tip

If you have a personal Instagram account, you’ll need to convert it to a Business or Creator account in Instagram settings first.

Facebook

Facebook Connection

Connect Facebook Pages and Groups you manage.

Requirements:

• Admin or Editor role on the Page/Group
• Facebook account logged in

Supported post types:

• Text posts
• Image posts
• Video posts
• Link posts

Note

Only Pages and Groups where you have posting permissions will appear for selection.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn Connection

Post to your personal profile or company pages.

Requirements:

• LinkedIn account
• Admin access for company pages

Supported post types:

• Text posts
• Image posts
• Document posts
• Article sharing

Tip

LinkedIn tokens expire every 60 days. You’ll receive a notification when reconnection is needed.

X (Twitter)

X (Twitter) Connection

Schedule tweets and threads to your X account.

Requirements:

• X/Twitter account

Supported post types:

• Single tweets (up to 280 characters)
• Threads (multiple connected tweets)
• Image tweets
• Video tweets

Note

X API limits apply. You can schedule up to 50 tweets per day through our platform.

Threads

Threads Connection

Post to Meta’s Threads platform.

Requirements:

• Threads account
• Instagram account linked to Threads

Supported post types:

• Text posts
• Image posts
• Reply threads

Note

Threads is connected through your Instagram Business or Creator account.

Account Limits

The number of social accounts you can connect depends on your plan:

Disconnecting Accounts

To disconnect a social account:

1. Go to Settings → Connected Accounts
2. Find the account you want to remove
3. Click the “Disconnect” button
4. Confirm the disconnection

Caution

Disconnecting an account will cancel all scheduled posts for that account. Downloaded media and analytics history will be preserved.
